We give the same attention to all clients, no matter how large or small. My position was to provide an enticing menu to keep work force on campus to promote increased productivity. I provided a substantial menu. Pros menu only had to cover food cost. Cons there really wasn't any cons. GMAC mortgage was on the best places to work for overall. Lots of training good managers good team members. The benefits and pay was really good and so much respect with peers.

Pros awesome. Cons na. This company was divested from General Motors and the mortgage division sold. It was an efficient, customer focused mortgage lending and loan servicing organization. Working at GMAC as a mortgage loan officer was an opportunity of a life time. I wanted to get into the real estate business, with my professional knowledge of finance. Being a real estate office that worked with real estate loan officers was exciting.

GMAC provided leads for business, but you also had the opportunity to go into the community to develop your own business. I partner with a real estate officer and we conducted community sessions in local libraries to bring in business. GMAC was able to provide me the office supplies to develop the presentation material and copies for all of the sessions. I liked the orientation training prior to working in the field. During the first months, you were given both salary and a mentor before going on commission salary.

The management style at GMAC was very hands on and they were extremely knowledgeable about the work. I often worked with other colleges on jobs and when meeting with clients. I got to work with real estate officers, settlement officers and bank officers. The hardest part of the job was getting new businesses. This was a sales position and when the market turned in real estate, the company closed a lot of the offices. Was an excellent office to work in.

Boss was fair, kind, and generous. Opportunities for advancement good as well. No longer in business. Great company to work for with good benefits and a competitive pay structure. Positive work environment with great work review culture that rewards outstanding performance.
