As ridiculous as it sounds, Spider House really has become a second home to me. I spend hours there nearly every day and I am on a first name…. I go to this place all the time. I love it. The process works like this: you fill out a little sheet of paper with what you want think Which Wich , you hand it to the cashier and pay, get your drinks and sit anywhere your heart desires, and they bring the food out to you.

The place was totally empty at around 7 : 00 p. Made me sad, though, because this place is great. The owner was incredibly nice, and I loved that I got to pick all the items that went onto my burrito, then still have it made back in the kitchen so it comes out as a beautiful, hot, yummy surprise.
I had the marinated steak burrito with black beans, veggies, corn relish, pico de gallo, and chile con queso on top melted cheese, real cheese, not velveeta. It came with rice and a little dollop of a kind of pickled salsa relish, which was delish. The burrito itself was terrific — the meat was moist and tender, very flavorful.
All the ingredients melded together under that gorgeous blanket of cheese, and I practically inhaled this very sizeable burrito. The bf got a shredded chicken with charro beans, and I tasted those beans and they were terrific. Very nice. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the terrific service. I wish it had been bustling, even on a Monday night. They also take the Go Local card, which is nice. Skip the chains in this strip mall, and head to this friendly, tasty little treat in the middle of Burnet and Research Blvd.
Jennifer W. Burger and fries — not too bad. I like that they have veggie and turkey burger options even though I am a beef girl all the way. Fries were ok — could have been crispier. Burger was decent. Love the crayon order form and pick your toppings option. Very friendly and good service. All in all it was a good meal but nothing I would drive out of the way for.
Steve B. Eat here! After we finished Dinner the owner brought us all a nice warm dessert just to show his generosity for our visit. I had the veggie burger and small fries which were more like a bucket. The burger had a hearty charbroiled taste and they have that pick all your toppings for the same price, so I loaded up on all the yummies to go on my burger.
