Noisy but maybe due to nearby party of 8. Lamb on couscous dish appeared to b trimmings with a lot of gristle etc Great service, delicious food and generous portions. I really enjoyed myself Food was cold multiple times when brought out. Waiter was too chatty until we needed him for something - then I had to go looking for him. Served expired bottled beer and didn't offer a glass. Hostess didn't speak English and had to call someone over to help she didn't understand that I had made a reservation.
I actually emailed the restaurant the next morning and never heard back. Very disappointing. The space was oddly cold. The floors were quite sticky and the plastic chairs slippery. The crab croquettes were good. Not crispy on the outside. The plates were plentiful but quantity over quality may be an issue. The server was fantastic. Quick service, knowledgeable about the food and gave recommendations for drinks to accompany. Took my mother and father-in law there with our family.
They are not too adventurous, but everybody found something we loved. The moroccan dishes are outstanding, but my daughter the vegetarian loved her salad and the fish was wonderful. Will go again! Wanted to try something different and saw this restaurant on open table.
The food was excellent and the bartender was extremely helpful with recommending a dry wine. Our salmon was perfectly cooked to our liking. We will definitely return again.
Excellent menu, food and service. Todd is a great asset. I loved the comfortable vibe. The food was excellent.
Service was wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is located down some steps from the street. There is a wide variety of drinks and food from various places like Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and Morocco. I had the seafood Bouillabaisse. It was chock full of lobster, scallops, clams, mussels, and veggies and more more in a white wine sauce. My wife had the surf and turf. The lobster was cooked so it was tender, delicate, and delicious.
The steak was cooked perfectly pink inside and seared gently on the outside. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. I highly recommend. Lobster mac was outstanding and rib eye entree along with seafood paella were all delicious.
Brought my friend to Bodega because she had never been there before and she loved it!! Bodega has gone down in atmosphere and overall experience. The place looks worn, dirty menus, dirty dishes, and worn furniture.
Seems like just about everything we wanted to order they were out of. We will not eat there again. We had not been to Bodega in years, and it was a terrific surprise. We shared small plates, and the food was wonderful. The mussels were plump and I wanted to drink the sauce. The eggplant was delicious. The sauce was so fresh and yummy. We ate outside and the service was great. We will be back. Overall, I had a nice experience. However, I pay attention to detail. I noticed the curtains next to my table were not clean.
Loved our waiter his name was Keith. Very nice and attentive to our table. The scenery was great for a Saturday night not too crowded. Loved the hookah as well such a chill place to be. I definitely would recommend this place. We had an excellent meal and the service was excellent as well.
Looking forward to sitting on the patio next visit. The food was good, and the waiter Major couldn't have been any friendlier, but the entrees took forever to come out. That part was bad. Very bad. It was just the 2 of us, post concert dinner. Food was excellent and serving sizes generous. Staff was efficient and very cordial. Space is lacking a bit on atmosphere so would go back again, but with a group, not as a couple.
Large loud group a curtain behind us. Freezing cold air coming in from the doorway. Server was friendly and food was good. Salad arrived after the entrees which arrived very fast and was returned no hassle but why? Nice bar and drink list. I ordered my favorite Rack of lamb med-well. It was cooked well done and very, very very, very, dry.
Not edible. However, my husbands steak was very tender. He said, this is what your Lamb should be like His Steak. He also said that I could've stayed home and cooked better he felt bad because this was my suggestion because he wanted crab cakes Date night dinner thumbs down. Service was great Justin was our host. Most of the food was good. I tried to order three different beers, but they did not have any of those I wanted in stock.
The waiter kept pushing us to order our entrees, but the restaurant was not very busy and we felt a little rushed. The last plate we ordered took much longer than anticipated, and it was overcooked. I would recommend this place for drinks and cocktails but not dinner. Delicious Lamb Lollipops!!!!! Good "pizza" nice selection of reasonable wines.
We had not been to Bodega for a year or so, so we dined there before a performance at Severance Hall. We have had several great meals at Bodega, unfortunately this was not one of them. The menu has changed and the preparation of dishes is different, so items we have loved in the past but were either not available lobster nachos or not enjoyable lobster nachos and cheese.
I did enjoy the beef short ribs but my wife did not eat her eggplant parmesan over pasta. The staff did take the eggplant off our check and threw in a dessert, but we left disappointed be and unsure if we will return. Absolutely delicious food. I ordered Chicken Fez but they were out of it. Apparently they had a big party on Friday and sold out. Odd because tonight is Sunday - 2 days later?? The waiter suggested Chicken Tajine a house special. The dish was not great, a bit salty and soupy.
On a brighter note the Hummus player was good. We went there for my birthday. Had a marvelous time. Create a special dish for one of our guest was a vegetarian. Love the place!
