Houston northside village

Every teacher I've met at Roosevelt has been deeply dedicated to their students. The school is respectful to their kids and encourages parent participation. Don't go by demographic dramatization at sites like this—Roosevelt is proof of that. Diversity is an incredible thing. The area around the school needs improvement—Stokes needs vegetation management and a clean up around Airline, but remember, this is a neighborhood that's on the periphery of and may look different in another five years.

This school is a disgusting excuse for a Texas school!! Administration was rude and disrespectful not only to students but to parents. I warn anyone willing to place ur child here. My kids love going to school each day. They are happy kids who are doing well and participate in school activities.

The school provides a strong academic focus and a welcoming atmosphere. I really like the new things the new principal has brought to the school too. The parent newsletter is good and keeps me informed on what's happening. We are excited for next year. Sherman Elementary School. Beautiful property and excellent school only problem needs more pre k classes an students so not right they get to pick an choose my daughter cries everyday picking my son up bc she can't go to school bc there's only three PRE k classes an teachers, wth!!

So not fair overall good but they really need more teachers an staff who care about kids who wanna get there education! Holy Name Catholic School.
