Daphne C. Harris, Ph. She has over 20 years of experience in human service agencies and programs that serve marginalized youth, families, and communities. Through her professional and service work, Dr. She is the owner of M. Individual and Family Services where through life coaching, parent education, and counseling she hopes to help people maximize and excel. Her research centers on the lived experiences of children and families of African descent across the Diaspora.
She is particularly interested in racial and gender identity, parenting fathers , and the oppressive systems that impede upon their overall health and well-being. Currently, she is interrogating Black masculinity and the homeschooling practices of Black families. Tiffany Phillips, Ph. Prior to becoming a fellow, Dr. Phillips got her Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Houston and doctorate in school psychology at Howard University. She continued to serve in the DISD for 7 years holding various leadership positions, including an adjunct trainer for new teachers and an assistant principal.
Tanisha is currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as a member of the class of Tanisha has an interest in pediatric psychology, specifically the assessment and treatment of children with development disabilities. Following graduation, David served several nonprofit agencies, providing counseling to individuals with limited resources. David specializes in treating ADHD, emotional or sexual trauma, anxiety-based disorders, PTSD, depression, relationships, families, pornography addiction, family members of addicts and alcoholics, and dissociative disorders.
In addition, he has notable experience working with children to address issues relating to self-esteem. David is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing EMDR , an effective form of treatment for complex trauma and anxiety-related disorders, including PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder and panic disorder.
Most recently, David has pursued advanced training in the utilization of DBT. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time outdoors, camping and hiking with his wife and 4 children.

Upon completion of her masters degree, she went on to becoming a therapist at a residential treatment facility in New York and eventually was running the Borderline Personality Disorder and Eating Disorder programs.
After working 11 years in New York, Megan moved to Dallas, Texas where she began working with relationships and families struggling with relationship issues and substance abuse. Megan is trained in the Gottman Method of Relationship Counseling which she utilizes to help individuals learn to enjoy being together again and communicate with each other more effectively. Megan utilizes DBT therapy to help individuals learn how to regulate their own emotions and regain power in their lives.
Megan is also well versed in working with clients diagnosed with both a mental illness and addiction. She is willing to work with all psychiatric disorders in teens and adults.
