The other young ladies were very rude and lacked customer service skills. I understand that they are still very young so I will not state their names in this post for that reason. Overall we had a great experience. Thank you Sarah for being great!!! You're the reason for the 5 stars. More Reviews They understood right away and switched me to kid-check and merch.
Everyone is friendly but they take their jobs seriously. Pros If you work all day you can get free food. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. Wonderful families but terrible management.
Cheese was my first job so I thought working 13 hour shifts without any breaks was normal. I was scheduled for a part time job but they gave 40 hours a week.
I was sick one time and they didn't let me leave. The general manger is never there and never helps. The mangers just sit in the office the entire time and when you need help there is no one around. They don't really train people either they will throw you in an area. Most of the mangers disregard standard procedures and do their own thing.
The most enjoyable part of the job were the families. Cheese is a party place, so we would get a lot of walk in parties or reserved parties. It was always fun playing with the kids, singing and dancing as well. I always tired to make the guests experience more enjoyable. Pros families, coworkers, free drinks. I worked in the party section and it was actually pretty fun. It's a great starting off job to learn the skills you'll need later on with tougher jobs. The workers were all friendly and helpful and the managers made sure I didn't feel bad after making mistakes and instead helped me learn from them.
The job I had wasn't working directly with kids, which I liked, but there are other jobs working closer to the kids if you prefer that. Too many hours, little pay. They start you off with lots of hours, even if you're part-time. Then, they'll randomly stop giving you hours.
Coworkers are friendly. This job is mainly good for teens and high school kids. Once you hit 20 years old, leave. I was mainly a cashier but they make you dress up in the chucke costume per covid.
Work here and it's a fun but if they don't like you be prepared to be put in a spot where you are completely alone with zero contact with any other workers. Also warning about the crazy parents I've seen more adults throw temper tantrums then children. Pros Coworkers are nice, livley environment. Cons Rude guests, loud children. The best part about the job is getting tipped, so be a party host if possible. Management stresses you out, and the workplace is filled with a bunch of drama.
Everyone has to be Chuck E. I would avoid working here. At my location it was very understaffed, I was thrown into a rush by myself then ridiculed for not being able keep up with orders in my first weekend there. Pros Discount and good coworkers. Cons Management and overworked. Good place to work. Time goes by fast. Management is really flexible. You are given one role and just have to worry about that.
